A social commentary on the influence of uniformity in
America and how the different "uniforms" we wear are
measures of order/control/creative expression/self-
identification. Transforming a concept of design intended to foster shame and humility (prison uniforms) into timeless style, and exploring alternate themes of 'imprisonment' in society through an intersection of popular archetypes/schools of thought throughout eras of American society. Some of those represented in these designs are corporate/blue collar workers, entertainers, marginalized groups, athletes, protesters. Combining different historical elements to impart a perspective of what living in America feels like.
